CE conformity

Equipment we place on the EU market carries CE marking and is supplied with its EU declaration of conformity naming the applicable directives and the harmonised standards applied. Where a notified body is involved, the certificate is available on request.

Standards we work to

Generating sets are supplied against EN ISO 8528. Machinery safety follows the Machinery Directive and EN 60204-1 for electrical equipment. Hand tools are supplied to the relevant DIN and ISO dimensional standards, and insulated tools are certified to EN 60900 for live working at 1000 V.

Noise and emissions

Equipment intended for outdoor use carries a guaranteed sound power level under Directive 2000/14/EC, stated on the product page. Diesel engines are supplied to the stated EU emission stage.

Supplier vetting

We buy from manufacturers who can produce test reports and conformity documentation on request, and we sample-check goods on arrival. A supplier who cannot produce the paperwork does not get an order, regardless of price.

What ships with your order

Declaration of conformity, operator manual, and where applicable the wiring diagram, test report and spare parts list. Ask if you need documentation in a particular language.
